Description
Made this for a contest over on Horseland, and I thought it turned out well enough to post in it's original form! The layout version looks pretty kickin' too, so I'll post a link here for that when I get it up as well. c:
But holy junk this was difficult. I've never done this much tack removal in my liiiiife. And for my first time trying to manip a Pegasus, I think I did alright. Could always use some improvements, of course, but I think it's pretty neat regardless. c:

It looks quite nice!
Some things to keep in mind for mushing wings onto horses, or manips in general. Don't be afraid to use the "add noise" tool. The spots where there are large 'coverups' won't match the rest of the grain of the image, unless you actually PUT grain onto it. So sections like the side by the ribs, carefully lasso that and go over the area gently with an "add noise" set to maybe 10 or 15% or whatever will most match the surroundings.
I would have also recolored the white portions of the wing a little more strongly to match the color of the horse, and maybe try matching it on the outer wing behind too but that's possibly what the horse is supposed to look like, so merely a suggestion.
